Finally Road Worthy

OK, it's been awhile - but I guess I need to post something here about what's going on with us. :)

Gene Evans Team Ford in Union City, Georgia replaced our car. Jim says we paid a fair price for the difference. I don't agree, but that's neither here nor there since it's a done deal. We no longer have our 2006 H3. We now have a 2007 H3. It has ½ the miles, a sunroof, and leather interior instead of cloth. Other than that, it's exactly like the one we had to give up. I don't like taking a used car. They scare the blazes out of me. I go through all the whys and what was wrong that someone traded in a vehicle. I know that's crazy, and yes, I have the car fax report on it, but it still scares me. Those of you that are brave enough to buy a used car, I envy you. Anyway, Rusty Huddleston at the dealership couldn't have been nicer, and I thank him for his time handling this along with General Manager Bill Miller.

The coach is done, the roof is on, the new windshields are installed, and we wait patiently for a call from Jim's Inspection company with a job for him. We moved to our favorite little park in Cochran, Georgia for now. I sure hope we aren't here for very long. I'd be happy to stay here a year if there was work here.

There's just not a whole lot else happening with us right now. Jim gets bent out of shape every time the President makes another speech. We're both so tired of speeches we could scream. What was that song .... "A little less talk and a lot more action"? I'd like to see more action and a whole lot less talk. Seems like there's a new speech every day. He seems to talk a good talk, but doesn't seem to really be DOING anything. I'd sit down and write the man a letter if I really thought he'd ever read it. I don't believe it would do a lick of good to waste my time doing so, so why bother? Enough already from me. I'm not that into politics, so I'd best just shutup.

That's it for now - until next post - please go shopping!!!! We've put a list of stores on one page so you don't need to go hunting them down.... You'll find them all in one convenient location and can go (or hunt an item) from there. Later!
